You are correct my friend. I had about 1000 miles on my Dunlops. I think the most they'll give you is $50/tire for a trade in and they'll even try to give you less. Stand your ground... hold your breath if you have to.

If they won't match the price just for asking, ask them if they'll match one of their own store's price. I'll email you my receipt if that'll help.

Wow...im going to get me some BFG AT's this weekend....please send me a copy of that receipt to [email protected] and also if you can send me a pic of your 4runner with those tires that'll be great just to see how the truck looks with those tires on....should be pretty sweet. They should be able to match them...my stock dunlops have about 1800 miles on them. but definetely want the All terrains.

Tire Size for Stock 18s with OME lift.

So I've finally got my OME lift installed and I want to run my stock 18s. Do you guys have any new recommendations on the size and brand of tires I should run without any further modifications. I really want to get some Revos.......... is that possibe?

Thanks again

I'd like to weigh in on this thread despite it being half a decade old. I own a 2006 4Runner Limited which came with 18" rims and 265/60R18 stock tires. Wanting to go with a slightly taller tire I purchased and installed a set of 265/70R18 Yokohama Geolander A/T-S all terrains. The tires stand exactly 32" tall under load and definitely rub (stock suspension) in the front (not the back) but only on the plastic splash-guard so no rubbing on metal.

To get a little lift to prevent the rubbing, the solution I've opted for, and what I've found are very popular, is a lift/leveling kit made by Daystar (Daystar? - Driven by Design). There are others available too (Velocity, Rough country, etc.). Gives the front a 2" lift, the rear ~1.5", and removes the built-in rake that these 4th gen 4Runners have. Also, since the spacers are installed on top of the struts/springs, the install is much easier than a suspension or body lift. If there's interest, I can post pics.

Bfg a/t ko2

I have a 07 sport 4wd and I plan to swap the XREAS for 5100s. What would be a good setting to run on the front while keeping stock coils? Also will 265/70r17 BFG K02 fit with this setup? Thanks

Double check that a 16" wheel will fit. I suspect the brake components are too big for that size wheel, so you might need to downgrade to base model parts too.
But either way, anything that results in greater than a 32dia x 10width will rub without mods.

Any chance this was in atlanta??? I going to a discount tire the weekend for sure.

Thanks,
the tires will hold but what radius they could understand from the photo
