Looking for trails in MA/NH/VT

Complete newbie when it comes to off-roading, would like to give it a go. I'm not looking for anything to crazy, I just want to have some fun exploring. I'm having a difficult time finding out where to go near me, so any tips would be much appreciated.

I'm in East/Central Mass, so I can get to Southern NH or VT relatively easy.

Hi Paul, Not sure about MA,NH but i have been on a lot of logging routes in Maine and Vermont. They are just gravel roads with some interesting sections. If you find anything else closer in MA please let me know i am interested too.

In New Hampshire they have a thing called "class 6 roads". They are used as snowmobile trails in the Winter. I heard they can be used as 4x4 trails in the Summer if you're willing to get "pinstripes".

Place to shred

By buddy brought me to this place near Leominster. It clearly used to be some sort of construction site that was abandon. There is lots of sand and it looks like people moved the sand to make jumps for dirt bikes. Go to 27 Pratts Junction Rd Sterling, MA 01564. Look this up on google maps and zoom out so that the scale is at .5 mile. There is a building that looks like a small warehouse, drive behind it and down the rail road tracks for about a half mile. Take one of the turn off to the right and use satellite images to find the way. There are many ways to get there however some of them are very tight. My 2011 SR5 and my buddies 4dr wrangler did fine Both stock with tire upgrades. If you’ve got friends with trucks they might be too long to get through some turns without getting beat. Heads up there are construction vehicles there, but sure how frequently they are checked up on so I went at night just to be sure.

New to NH

New to NH, transplant from Texas. Have a 2015 TRD Pro with a 6" lift. Anyone in this area have get togethers and wheeling adventures? One of the reasons I moved up here is because of all the 'free' land to off road on. I've asked around and everything I hear is go to the North country, is there anything in the South? I'm around the Manchester area, but am not scared to drive for a good wheeling spot. Hit me up, name is George.

Wheeling in New England.

I see tons of new gen runners with overland stuff. Main place I go is on the cape cod seashore. But I’m down to go places in NH too if anyone has some good spots
