06 SE Lifted w/stock
I finally have my 4runner lifted. Now, it need bigger tires. Please checkout the close shot of the spacer picture. Is that correct? I saw other members have a different spacer than mine.
BTW, it is Cornfed 3" spacer lift. I don't know the "cut" to keep the bolt in place are from the factory or the installer cut them.

Hey twin, nice lift! I don't know why your front is not made up of billet alluminum. maybe you should contact Jason Burtman of Burtman industries or David of Cornfed suspension for some answers. btw what color are your rear spacers? mine are white plastic polymer. all in all nice looking T4r!

I contacted Jason and David. They are sending the alluminum ones to me. It was a mistake by Cornfed (David). The service by Jason and David are great.
Hi five for Jason and David.:awais:

Question...
Are you still running the factory shocks with the Cornfed spacers? I recently purchased (pick up this Saturday) an '04 SR5 and would like to go with the same 3" set-up. Is Cornfed definately the way to go or would Revtek (or the likes) be of similar quality?
I did purchase new OME shocks with my OME HD spring set-up for my 99 Limited, but I was not sure if it is a must for the 4th gen?
Thanks bro!

After researching, I decided to go with Cornfed. It seem lots of members like Cornfed. If you get it via Jason Burtman, he give you great service and can answer any of your question. I still use my factory shocks. I will have 285x70x17 install this weekend.

I got the tires mounted but it rubbed against the UCA. I have to take the bigger tires out and put stock tires back. New wheels have been ordered and they are 3 weeks backorder (according to wheels shop). I definately will post new pics with wheels and tires after they installed.

Sound like a pain in the butt, are you going to stay with stock size tires since the 285 wont work ?
Truck looks good , just need bigger meats on it . I cant wait to see new pics.

I went with 285x70x17. They rubbed like madness. I have to do lots of trimming.
BTW. I just got new wheels installed yesterday. I was so busy so no time to take pics yet. With new rims (correct backspace), the rubbing still there. I had to trim more, more, and more. Now no more rubbing.
I am very happy with the look. Pics will come soon.
