the lift

well im looking to get the lift done on my truck. Its a 1992 automatic transmission and since money is a huge issue and I am not looking for and increased performance I just want looks, thats why I just want a 3 inch body lift. The only problem, how come there are no body lif kits for a automatic transmission.

Re: the lift

Are you saying you cant find a kit at all for your 92, or that you cant find a kit just to lift the auto tranny?
4crawler has body lift kits that dont discriminate against auto vs manual

The major manufacturers don't make BLs for autos because of issues dealing with lengthening the shifter linkage, they don't want to get involved because of liability issues.

Check 4Crawler Offroad , he has custom BLs and stuff for the auto's linkage.
