First '05 "Pre4runner" w/4" Lift Spindle Prototypes by Allied Motorsports
My rig is the first 4runner to get AM's new lift spindles. I contacted them and asked if they were interested in working on the 4runner and here I am. I am gettin what I will call the 1.1 spindle. It is different from the first one in that it does have a tab for the sway bar. The production set will be a bit different but along the same lines according to AM (the sway bar attachment will be more integrated into the spindle). I will trade in the set I am getting now for those when they are available in March. Now dont go hatin or anything, I just got lucky! I will tell you that these guys know what they're doing and are going after products that other shops aren't taking into consideration. So for that, I say well done sirs . Here are a few shots of the spindles going on my truck now. I will post more photos later.
I should say that these production sets will not be available until March and that you can call and preorder now. They will have a spread in an upcoming magazine (with pics of my rig possibly), but at this time I am not sure which.
Thanks alot Allied!

Dude there is sooooo much clearance there with the 285's. What is going to be the next size tire? Give us some more feedback!!
You guys are so lucky in SoCal. You can hit he trails when ever you want. Us Here in Denver we are getting more snow. It is going to be June until I can test out this OME lift......

As far as price, $950 for the pair of spindles. You will need to get longer brake lines also. I went for a really good braided set so the lines ran me almost $100. If you call them up, you can give them a $300 deposit, they will make sure that you get a set as soon as they are available (they have a release date of sometime in March and they've been taking pre orders).
I am planning on going to a 35" tire (actually 315/75). But there are still a few things I need to do to have them and be good off road. Right now, 35's will fit and do fine on road driving. But off road, I need a bit more room on the extreme rear tire stuff. It will hit the back part of the fender on full stuff. Right now, the solution is to go from 2" lift in back to 3" lift. This should give me the room without changing the rear bumper 1/4 panel. Only thing with that is that the stock geometry of the link arms and lines will be maxed. So the next step with Allied Msports is to make custom link arms with a little bit added length and heim joints for better articulation. And also extending any lines that will need it. The front is good to go as is for the most part. I do want to get working on the front bumper and eventually put glass on. But that may have to wait awhile. Probably until I go with Long Travel.
Time and money, the only thing stopping me.....

wow, parking that would not be an issue, just pull "over" the car that is in the desired parking spot!!!
Dude, that is really neat... looks good.

Just have a DR 2"lift coil and DR shocks. I will be working on Custom Link Arms with a little bit more length and heim joints. Replace 2" coil with a 3" or 4" lift coil. Replace the DR shock for a 2.5" or 2" fox/king shock sitting in some custom buckets? Replace any short or stressed cables and lines. We shall see .
Took it wheelin today. So much smoother on the trail!! Spots where I used to launch and "bump" the stock bump stop on the bottom out were just perfect now. Full travel of the suspension just sucking it up like soup, lovin it
Couple more pics on trail today

Flex in what way?
Call em up, they may be able to fab something up. They are not opposed to fabbing custom stuff.
