I love the “don’t want to break anything” excuse. I have so many friends with lifted jeeps who don’t want to break their rig...they may be on to something with their Jeep. Haha.
My 11 year old, 115,000 mile Runner has yet to break anything. No one is looking to destroy their rig.
My friend in the pic I posted from Badlands with the white runner just had it vinyl wrapped so now he won’t go so he doesn’t mess up this vinyl...

Yea. I shouldn't be too surprised, I came from sports cars, Camaros most recently, and my 6th Gen SS was on track the summer after I picked it up and raced 8-10 times every summer. Yet it was impossible to get anyone else from the forums to head out there with me, same reason. I maybe understand it a LITTLE more with sports cars, doing some off roading isn't quite the same as apexing at 85 at the limit of traction with a wall on your drivers side as you're accelerating out and down the front straight to 110. Of course, you could always just not go that fast too and still have a hell of a time.
Hell, this TRD Pro was out at Silver lake the day after the temp tag came off it, and I'm completely OCD about keeping things pristine, but there's NO reason, in my opinion, to buy a 4Runner if it's not leaving pavement.
