My 2.0cfm VIAIR 400C is fused for 30 amps, so probably takes about 25. That's around 325 watts from a 13V system. So, a 400 watt inverter should power something similar. The question would be, can you find a 120VAC compressor that is only 2CFM? Most of the small ones are usually 4 CFM or so, and probably take 10 amps at 120VAC, or about 1200 watts. Your inverter won't be able to power that.
