Hey everyone, not sure i'll get a ton of response but worth a shot.
Looking for afternoon/weekender trails to hop on and get away for a few hours at a time. They are kind of everywhere but most are not marked or documented online so being new to the area i've just been searching and going by word of mouth. Only gotten us in a sticky situation once so far when a trail was wiped out by a landslide and I had to back down a half-mile of rocky cliffside.
Anywho, Obviously Moab is a trek and while we'll be heading down there on long weekends, I'm looking for quickies along the Wasatch and maybe into the Uintas.
Anyone have experience out here and have trails they love?
so far we've done:
• Most of the Bountiful B(Old Ward Canyon Road)
• A good bit of Farminton Canyon up to Francis Peak and most of the trail back toward Thurston peak.
• Hobble Creek to Highway 6
• Strawberry res to Hobble Creek
TIA
