Like @Sleeter said just send me a Facebook friend request and I'll send you the invite to the event. Just type in @lumo423 while on Facebook and you'll find me. My default pic has an orange background and says "Sweet Lou"

Obviously VHF/UHF(Ham) and GMRS are better than CB, however both require a license . GMRS and Ham have much higher wattage allowance so I'm not going to argue with the fact that it's better than CB, but the pain of getting a license and the costs, etc. make it inconvenient.

FRS has a lot higher frequency but wattage is still important (.5W or 2W is not a lot, even at ~460MHz) and you can't have a remote antenna which also makes a huge difference. FRS has a realistic range of maybe a mile at best, while I can easily get 5-10 miles without obstruction on my cheap CB setup.

I prefer CB for those reasons... They all have their drawbacks but I think CB clarity & range is more than adequate for my needs and is easier than Ham, GMRS and FRS.
