Traction Boards: Who's got the goods?

Hey everyone!

So I am out in South Dakota right now, where the trails are particularly muddy with some snow managing to stick around (even though it's now May). I searched this forum, however; I did not find a thread that talked about good traction boards.

SirWilliamGoes on youtube did an incredible recovery board comparison video, but I figured I would turn to y'all for some additional input.

What are y'all's favorite recovery boards/recovery gear? Are there any vendors on T4R.org that offer discounts for recovery boards (so far I haven't found any).

For those of you who are interested in following my offroading antics in South Dakota, my Instagram is: Griffin4Runner

Thanks!

Recovery boards:
I have Xbull/Boar offroad boards. Both sets rated to 10k (per board on flat surface). Only had to use them twice. So far they held up, haven't had any technical issues with them.
For price point, can't beat them ($160 for all 4). However they do not stack all that well or flex as well as Maxxtrax. I will say Maxxtrax will stand behind their product.
Your money: your call. You can't really go wrong either way.

Winch:
Smittybilt X2O pro Comp 12k: used it a few times, had it submerged several times as well. no issues with it at all.

Winching accessories:
ARB kinetic snatch strap, ARB tree saver : what ever brand you choice: make sure it has both workload limit, and breaking load limit clearly noted
Snatch block (local marine shop) rated to 24t working load limit
D shackles : 4t working load limit
Gloves

What ever you do get, practice with it, before you need it so you are comfortable with using it.

I ordered the xbulls. I could not afford the maxtracs. However....I did do some research and like the youtube referenced above there are others youtubes comparing the different brands. Some brands just snapped in half.. However there was one video that sold me on it. A guy in austrailia.. It started out as a guy comparing xbulls to max trac and I beleive he thought it was gonna be a slam video against x bulls.
He torture tested them side by side in all kinds of situations...and in the beginning he had the attitude of ....well these wont hold up...but slowly that attitude went away. In the video you see each test...its not just talk.
by the end of the video he and 2 buddies are sitting around and saying that the x bulls are great....almost became an x bull commercial...he did see some fatigue..but no cracks...he thought....long term...who knows how they will last.
But I thought to myself...if he could trash those like that..they will work for me.

side note...dont know how fast shipping is for amazon in the lower 48..it has really slowed to ship to alaska...or maybe its the vendor...but shipping was super slow...so plan accordingly...like 3 plus weeks
