CO 4runners Sat. June 27th

This will be the sign-up for the "first" trail ride for Central CO 4Runners. If you are interested in going send me a pm or post below. I just completed a scouting run this morning, trail conditions below.

Date: Saturday June 27th Cancelled
Meeting Location: Colorado mills
Time: TBD
Location: Alice, Central City/Black hawk
trails: Chinns Lake - Cumberland Gulch - Yankee Hill RD
Rating: easy - moderate
Seat time: 5hrs
CO pin-striping: Extremely likely, tight and narrow in places
limit: 6 rigs

Trail Conditions:
Chinns Lake: is an easy there and back trail, steep and rocky, can be completed in a stock 4runner.
Cumberland Gulch - Yankee Hill RD: is a Moderate one way trail (start in Alice and finish in Central city/black hawk. Steep & extremely rocky in spots, can feel/look intimidating for those running under 285's but doable with aggressive A/T tires and skids.

This trip has been cancelled (due to lack of interest)... I ran/scouted this trail last weekend, solo (+ dog) and no skids, I know... big no.. no (not my first time on this trail or solo run). didn't have any trouble or clearance issues. If you haven't done these trails before, you're missing out. Highly recommend they are fun, challenging, and scenic (good photo ops).

Feel free use this thread to post your own impromptu and future trail rides. I will do the same.
