I’ve only been to RC once. Anyone have recommendations on good trails? I’d like to try a few more challenging once this go around.

Challenging is relative. If you stay on the West map try the A - 3A loop as a warm up.

When you head back out from the entrance again:
A - (R)B - (R)1A - (L)P - (R)G - (R)Pole Line - (L)1B - (R)B - (L)C - (R)O - (R)C - Back to Entrance

So I’ve used zello,a walkie talk with good experience in the past. That may be an option and what was used by oex overland experts in my ride with them

Is there an easy meet up place? Ie wherever you pay

Yes, where you pay/check-in is an easy place to meet. It's a large gravel parking area.

Who else is confirmed?

No comms in the car. I do have two way radios if we need them.

I’m still on the fence haha. I’d love to go, but then the thought of driving 4 hours behind in the car for maybe another 3-4 then 4 hour drive home, plus the ~$75 entrance fee is a lot. Alhough it’ll be a long winter and I’ll be kicking myself if I don’t.

Had a chance to go a couple of years ago with my buddy (who at that time had a Wrangler JKU) and two other people. Actually, that is where my thumbnail is from. Wouldn't mind going again but with a fully-stock Trail, I know I'd only do the Green trails again.

The green trails are fun. My last trip, some of the greens had washed out and were more like Blue trails.

There are a number of blue trails that are challenging but very doable.

My first trip to RC in the 4 Runner was during an Early Bronco event. It was gonna rain all weekend so I left the EB at home. Lots of ball busting at the trail head that my Bronco friends were gonna have to pull me out all day and id slow up the trails. Later that day my friend came up n said how impressed he was with the 4Runner! This is when it was bone stock, including the factory tires.

Unfortunately, Im out. something came up in our family and I need to be around Saturday to help. Wish I was closer and could make this happen, was excited about the prospect, but it just isnt gonna work out. Hopefully we can plan another run and ill be able to stay the weekend and meet some of you all.

Pretty much the same response I got from the group that I was in and people that we had encountered. It was cool to see how well the 4Runner did on highway tires haha. Definitely a good time.
