Rausch Creek anyone?

Busy summer. Didn’t get out to wheel at all.

Anyone interested in a Rausch Creek run?

Looking to stay on the greens and maybe a blue trail or two.

Let me know.

Dave.

Thinking of it just can't figure it out when. BTW, if your truck is not raised and does not have bigger tires, stay away from B1B, is not Blue.

There’s a fair amount of greens that are now blue and blue that are now blacks!

I’ve got a spacer loft and 285’s so I’ll be good, but thanks for the heads up!

I also might be in as well. Moved out of NC and the national forest OHV and this is one of the closer places now

I'm interested but a newbie so not sure if this would be the best way to learn. Wouldn't want to hold others back from more challenging trails.

If i was going, itd be fine with me. We all gotta start somewhere. Just get in the middle of the pack, follow the leader and ask questions/ for help when needed. Particularly on easier trails, as long as there isnt steep inclines with slick clay or large boulders to navigate over, stock 4R generally do great and any mods above that is just gravy

its 3.5 hour drive for me, but hopefully i can figure out a trip soon

I’m interested. Been trying to line up a trip and test out my new suspension setup and 285s. I went to Rausch for the first time last December. Fun day. Busted a headlight going through deep frozen water though...

I have full skids including gas tank and they def came in handy with stock ride height.

You’ll be good. Rausch is good for all levels. Most blue, black n red trails loop off of greens. Guys to those n we can roll down the geeens n meet up w them.

I’ll look at the family calendar and throw some dates up.

Stay tuned.

Deep frozen water??? WTH is that? Love Rausch Creek though. Did July 4th weekend up there a few years ago. Probably didn't even scratch the surface of that place. Surely didn't break any headlights on frozen water either.

Just sheets of 2” ice on top. I’m all for going when temps are above freezing this time!

Sounds great! Just got a lift and AT tires installed, so I feel like I need to hit the trails. Subscribed to the thread and will keep an eye out for updates.

Now I really have to go, spent 8 hours compounding and waxing the 4Runner to remove the pin stripes from the last trip!
