WeBoost reviews?

Has anyone tried using WeBoost cell signal booster on trails? Wondering how well they work...

I purchased the newest WeBoost Drive Reach ($499 on Amazon)with the magnetic mount antenna and have been UNimpressed. My goal was better voice reception in fringe areas and I have not noticed ANY improvement.

I did just buy the Wilson truck/rv antenna ($64 also on amazon)and will be installing it this week to see if that makes a difference. Based on the out of the box performance I wouldn’t buy it again.

Honestly I've found them to only work if you have line of sight to towers.

I was in BESF (Bald Eagle State Forest) this past weekend and there was a gentleman with a WeBoost device on his Tacoma; Since we were in the trees, in a valley, and in the middle of the park; Still zero cellphone signal.

I honestly think a Garmin InReach would be a much better option.
