Hi guys, got a question. I'm looking at jerry can type gas container. I have the following bargain roof rack below. I figure I don't want to spend thousands for a Baja if I'm just 99% driving around without it. So I got one like below and will use it when I go somewhere and remove when not using it. I see things that hold a jerry can to these but upright. I'm thinking of more ummm, "bargain" way of putting it on the rack laying down. I like the idea of the jerry cans cause it's size and cheaper than rotopax. I'm not as rich as you guys! hahaha. I'm sure there are some smaller rachet straps I can use but the ones I see at Lowes/HomeD are long!
I'm sure there is a way, I've watched NatGeo since I was a kid and seen these things slinged on top of a Land Rover. I'm sure they just used rope, and twin, and giraffe intestines or something.
I want to hear your inner McGuyver!
