There's a small waterfall right next to the descent. When we got to the bottom of the steps there was a Mercedes sedan with a flat tire parked next to the pool at the bottom of the waterfall, just off the trail. No idea what it was doing there. Obviously someone had abandoned it there and had doubtless driven it up from Telluride, even though it's one way coming down until you get to Bridal Veil Falls, which is where the switchbacks pretty much come to an end. Never heard anything after the fact about that car being there, or how it got there.

Was it out of the way or did it effect your line?. There is a little section by that water fall where you skid just a little sideways and and if you slam on your brakes it makes it titer tote.
