Sidewinder trail Corral Canyon San Diego

Hot damn! I made it through yesterday with a stock TRD Premium. Well I do have skids and sliders, but the suspension and tires are stock. Got a tiny bit of paint wear on the passenger wheel well trim and the door handle. Truck was resting on the door handle!! Freaking squeeze obstacle is rough stuff. Ultimately I don’t think this trail is going to go without paint damage. Real body damage is extremely likely. My friend took out the whole passenger side of his truck at the same spot, moments after I got through. Sidewinder is in he corral canyon OHV park. Anyone living in San Diego should check out the area, there are easier trails than this one though. This one actually felt harder than running the Jeep badge of honor trail “gold mountain” up in big Bear. There’s a video posted by trails off-road but it doesn’t do the trail any Justice.

Looks interesting but yeah looks like a bit much for me without at least rocksliders. I have mountain parts of that area.

This vid of my buddy is the same general area

Not a fan of off camber wheeling. Scares the hell out of me.

I need a beater. But then you need a trailer and a vehicle to tow it all.

I’ve got plenty of pin stripes but try to avoid trails that could result in body damage

Kind of the same here.

The off camber wheeling doesn't bother me (to a point) but I still like my 4runners too much to knowingly inflict body damage. Hopefully someday I can build a beater for some unleashed wheeling.

Anybody got recommendations on other trails in corral canyon? I have a sr5 with a small lift, sliders, stock size tires. I want a challenge but no body damage lol.
