Surprised to hear you thought SR was easier than DV. Although, I have never made it out of DV without some body damage, liberal use of sliders and armor, rear diff drags and sush. They are both great trails and will challenge your ability as well as a little puckering. Nicely done.

It's easy when your IG / mall wheeling. Trail flex is far different then poser flex.

We actually had a big discussion about that. I think they are both hard in their different ways. Slickrock is really technical with a lot of rocks while Deer Valley is very steep and loose with tons of sketchy off camber sections. I think they are a perfect combo

I love the MT option but I opted for the easier and cheaper fix with upgraded SPC LCAs. Ill have to look at the upgraded rear CV shaft. Great idea.

I have written reports on TrailDamage.Com but the site is mostly crickets nowadays.

Many thanks for Slickrock. I was aware of it but did not know much about it.

Today, my teenage son was practicing on pavement but I did drive a new short, easy trail in the desert. Close to town, though, so it was a good thing the Ford pickup drivers we met were sensible and let us pass quickly

I first taught him offroad so now he is "man, you get to do the fun?" I am like, oh yeah; you can have all the pavement Good times.
