4th Gen Rock Sliders

I'd really like some Rock Sliders for my 4th Gen. Its got the XREAS suspension, so I'm not sure how I might go about doing this. Anybody have some, know where I could get some, have any other ideas?

Look for damien (?) on yotatech- he has solid cheap ones for xreas in several models.

I think Demello might make them...

stubbswelding.com...

That's all I can think of!

Nitrous Enterprises has em...give us 2-3 weeks and they will be by far the best x-reas sliders you can find.

I'd be interested in your sliders. Let me know when you have them?

Sliders are steel tubes that run where your stock running boards used to run. It protects the body from rocky terrain when you offroad.

Check out the link below to get an idea of what it looks like and it in action. These photos are outdated but you'll get the picture.

Dude, that is a hella kewl front bumper you have on there.

Also, can you take a better pic of your sliders? I'd like to replace my cheesey plastic running boards.

BTW, the color of your 4Runner. Was that unique to the 2003 models? I've never seen that green on the 2k4...

Thanks for the warm compliments The bumper is a custom work that has been alot of work. Those photos are old but I do have updated photos that has been repainted (same color as sliders - charcoal).

As for the color of the 4runner it's actually green (found on 3rd gen 4runners). It was only available for 2003 (1/2 year) as it was discontinued midyear. The red color has also been discontinued at the sametime so anyone with either red or green 4runners are a rare breed.

Demello Offroad (www.demello-offroad.com) has sliders for the 4the gen for the non xreas folks. I think he has sliders fo xreas ones too but I don't know for certain. email [email protected] for more information.

There are also other places with em but I give props to demello as they have been able to build my sliders/front and rear bumpers

Good luck

Kewl, I learn something new everyday! Never knew there was a red or a green available.
