Holy crap. If that isn't a testament to durability of Yotas I don't know what is. And that Land Cruiser story/link is cool as hell.

Well that's a toss up.
1. There was a good size log on this hole that stopped me dead in my tracks. I then began to dig holes to this.
2. I decided to take a short cut route to another trail and found out why people don't use the short cut during the snow season. It got real deep, real quick.

No pics but I got stuck good in my Chevy when I was 17. I had only had my truck about 4 months and had never really used the 4x4. Well they had just starting grading a nearby field to build houses on so I decided to be cool and go tear it up. All was good, I tooled around for about 20 minutes, running through mudholes, doing donuts, and just playing around. Then I decided to explore a little more, which was stupid on my part seeing how it was pitch black out there. I took off down one of the roads they were grating, then decided to turn left for no reason at all. I instantly sank to the frame and was not going anywhere. Not wanting our parents to find out, we stripped down to our underwear and proceeded to wander around a construction site with no shoes on. We found some plywood and attempted to wedge it under the tires, but my frame was completely buried in the mud. After about an hour of being stuck and my buddy's girlfriend starting to get pissed, we called his dad. He came to our rescue in his 96 Tacoma on 33's and yanked us out real quick. He wasn't happy to have to rescue us at 10pm on a Friday night, but he had a big smile on his face when we were hooking up the tow rope in our underwear! First and only time I ever got my truck stuck.

Downhill on this trail was easy and it didn't seem deep, but then we hit a dead end and has to climb back.....uphill....thats when the madness began. Lifted on 35's and I was still opening my doors only to hit snow. Unfortunately this is the only pic taken as the winches were pulling me out.

Hey Jake, just a word of advice--unless you (or whoever your friend in the foreground is) enjoy being sliced and diced, I'd get the heck away from those winch lines. If either one of those snaps, that guy is gonna get a face full of frayed cable at dangerously high speed. Not good practice, friend.

"Stuck"? What is this "stuck" you all are talking about?
I've actually never had my Yota stuck. I have been a couple times in Splodey, though. Once was with bald tires in a patch of sand down south of Canyonlands. I had my hilift and a wheelmate, and I had to jack up and put rocks under my tires three times to get out of that pit, in 105 degree heat. Very miserable. The other was on the side of the road, believe it or not - there's a highway along the mountain bench on the back side of the Salt Lake valley, and it was whited out with a snow storm. I'm tooling along and see a guy who is off the shoulder, waving for help. I always carry a strap in the back, so I pull over to give him a hand, and wasn't ready for how slick the shoulder was... I came to a stop, and immediately starting sliding sideways, ended up down in the ditch with him. The Dodge 1500 behind me couldn't get me out, we had to wait until an F250 came along and strapped up in front of the Dodge and both of them pulling yanked me out. Good times, good times.
