North East Texas?
Anyone around the Dallas, Paris, or Tyler Texas areas? Looking for good places to off-road.

Here in the Dallas area. My club wheels at the BMRA in Gilmer some, and then at Bridgeport, NW of FTW. Welcome to the forum.

There are lots of trails up near Clayton State Park, OK.
manhunter dialed in the local parks. Gilmer has some serious erosion problems right now and Bridgeport has been run pretty ragged in the last few months.
You have to be careful. There are lots of places around that look fun, but are private property and off limits.

Thanks guys, I don't have any friends with 4x4 vehicles so I don't know many places to go. The extent of my off-roading has always just been trying to get to my fishing hole on lake lavon.

My grandma lives in Tyler, TX. If I go down this summer we may have to meet up and wheel somewhere..

Maybe we could schedule something for either June or July at BMRA. Maybe it would be dried up by then.

I'm down, if everyone can make it in the same week we could look like bikers driving down the road, but in 4runners.

I guess we could put ribbons on our antennas to show our colors as well, ....., whatever that might be - well, maybe not.

I was joking, and I don't have an antenna any more. I took it off when I painted and forgot to put it back on so the ribbon thing is out.

An easy substitute... we could just paint one onto the side of your truck.
Carry on.
I would be down for some kind of gathering at BMRA, but Texas in July? I can think of a few places I would rather be during the hotter months. Us Texicans wouldn't want our thicker blooded northern bretheren to be forced to sit in the shade and drink ice cold adult beverages all day...
