Well...I dont know about a 4x4 shop...but check out Jimmie Scafa in Smithtown. Give him a call. I dont know if he will do it though. By the way, he is the only person my wife and all of her family members used to take their cars to. And when I lived there that is the ONLY person I could trust. If something is under warranty, he would call you up and tell you to bring it to the stealership to get the work done-that is after he may have already spent 2-3 hours looking at it. Oh yeah, he wouldnt charge you either! He was the only one who finally fixed my front suspension on my 97 Grand Am (after someone royally F'd it up installing Eibach springs-it couldnt be fixed by anyone for over 2 years!). This guy does great work, and is super reasonable. If I still lived on LI, that would be the only place to take it. Even if he wont do the lift-if you need work done, take it there. You WILL NOT be disappointed.
