Light mounts?

What mounts are you guys using on your racks for driving lights? I have a Yakima Loadwarrior and just bought 4 Hella 450 driving lights, but not sure which mounts to use. Yakima makes light mounts but you can only fit 3 on the top bar, I want them evenly spaced across the bar, but with 3 it wouldn't work. I had bought some KC hilite tube mount brackets, but noticed that the lights would stick out about an inch from the front bar. I could mount the lights on a load bar an inch behind the front bar, but than it wouldn't be as clean. Any suggestions? Thanks.

They have rubber inserts to accommodate different tube diameter.

Used those for my Rola Rack

When I had lights on my 04 with my load warrior I actually used the same tabs that hold the fairing on and just flipped them down so the light was bolted under the lower bar so they weren't sticking up like mikey mouse ears lol. fyi I had to wrap the bar where I clamped it with a old bicycle inner tube to keep the lights from moving did i make it confusing? lol

Well, ya, i agree with the mickey mouse look but it depends on which bar you mount them on right?

If you mount them on the lower bar of the rack you shouldn't get any mickey mouse look. Like I mounted 4 of them on the lower bar as seen here

Sadly, yes. There are other ways to fab up a mount for cheaper but I felt these were the most solid and best way to go.

It's all I could find for a universal fit mount

Mine are rectangle so I'm not worried about mickey mouse ears lol. I want to mount them on the top bar so I can keep my fairing.

A10 can you get one from the side, did you mount them backwards? Cause if I mounted the lights like the first picture on the bar, my lights would line up with the crack on the bracket.

I've been looking since I first commented on this thread. There is a way you could keep the fairing and still mount them on the bottom.

Correct. You just have to cut the inserts on the fairing. How many lights are you doing?

I get what your saying, I'm doing 4 but their dimensions aren't as big as the hella 500s or 550s.

This is what I was talking about in my first post, you can kinda see where the light lines up with. So if I put that on any bar it would be set back like 2 inches. Or do I have the light mounted on backwards?
