I just wanted to know how long you guys had to wait for a bumper from them. I ordered mine on November the 8th and at that time they told me it would be 6weeks. Which I thought was a long time then. But now about 16 weeks later, I just now have received the call from the delivery service saying it will be dropped off tomorrow. I think that it's to long to wait, but people say its worth the wait because they make the best bumper. I do have to say that their customer service is top notch. I will just have to see if the bumper is all that great once I have it on my truck. So how long did yours take to come and is 16 weeks a reasonable time in terms of shrockworks delivery?
I can't speak to their bumper delivery time frames, but I ordered a set of their sliders at the beginning of the year. They told me it was a 6-8 week turnaround and I got them right at 6 weeks. I agree that their customer service is great. They were very quick to respond to my e-mails and they even extended a group buy discount that I asked about even though it had already expired.
I know it can be frustrating to wait, but I will echo what everyone else says about it being worth the wait. I specifically ordered my sliders in the winter, knowing that I wouldn't really need them until the spring. Just from looking at the sliders and holding them (they are f'n heavy!), you can tell the build quality is top notch. The weld seems look perfect and the powder coating is immaculate. I wouldn't expect the bumper to be any different.
Enjoy the bumper and post pics once you've installed it!

If you research Shrockworks you will find a lot of negative feedback on lead/wait times. Some people had to wait 9 months and even a couple to a year. Most of that was due to out growing a shop and having to move to larger facility and going through staffing changes. It is not uncommon at all for a "custom fab" bumper to be delivered in 8-12 weeks and sometimes up to 16 weeks no matter the vendor. I have seen a few Shrockworks products in person and the quality is very good and understand they have fixed a lot of their wait time issues of the past.
The negative feedback on lead time is why I worked with Outdoorlogic to make my bumper and then bring it to production as another choice for people.

That is quite a while but I hear it's worth the wait... CBI's turnaround time is around the same too. I think brian2sun waited 6 months for his rear bumper. But once you have it you don't seem to care anymore lol
