I pocket carry almost exclusively now.
IWB works but just found the front pocket to be more comfortable and makes it less likely of deciding not to carry for comfort reasons.
I don’t have to dress professionally for work anymore, but when I did also made it possible to carry concealed with your shirt tucked in.
Sig P938, 9mm.
Pocket holster with cover flap to avoid gun shaped print.
Extra mag in the left pocket.

While livin' in WY, my carry weapon was a .41 mag Ruger Blackhawk. Hell, you could throw it on the truck seat and be on your way. Not to mention wear it in a leather holster rig while shopping in WalMart or eatin' in a diner. All was acceptable - and there wasn't a helluva lot o' crime.
Here in Commiefornia - you know, The Tarnished State, The Land Of Fruits and Nuts - if you have more than a pen in your pocket you'd better be glad to see someone. So many whining liberals afraid of guns and, unsurprisingly, corresponding resultant crime. So I live in a northern, sparsely populated county where it's easy to get a permit to carry, although most of my time's spent in the woods where you don't need one. Sheriffs up here like for people to be permitted, stating that given the terrain and miles they likely won't be here on time. Well, maybe for mop up.
So, my bodily concealed pistol is a Kimber Ultra Crimson Carry in .45acp.
Doesn't hold a candle to my .41 mags for stopping power...
But it's easily concealed, shoots straight, and it'll cure what ails 'em.

All the training programs I have watched tactically use the zipper method. Pelvis, belly, chest, head. If ammo is limited, 2 to the chest, 1 to the head.
You can buy rare earth magnet that screws it the surface of the vehicle and when you enter you stick your gun on it so its handy.

The worst part about living in this Hellstate (and I can give you a bulleted list) is that most of the Bay Area counties are "May Issue" so you can't get a CCW permit unless you're some big shot who is friends with the Sheriff.
I literally feel naked without a gun and even the skin on my 2:30 flank had thickened from wearing a gun all these years.
This doesn't feel like America, and with Joe 'n Hoe this may be coming to a state near you.

Maybe there's another issue?
I lived in CA for three years and bought 4 guns during that time. Veteran status was enough for Monterey County Sheriff and I never even met him.

Kinda reminds me of the AK pistol, with an “arm brace” I used to own.
Technically classified and sold as a pistol due to barrel length and no butt stock.
Added the arm brace and angled fore grip, both of which were 100% legal, although technically you were not supposed to shoulder the brace.
And an aimpoint.
Poor mans SBR.
I ended up selling it in case the legality of any of these style/set-up of guns were eventually challenged.
Didn’t want to mess around with it.
Not sure where they currently stand.

I have several non resident CCWs from other states for when I travel, I have worked for .gov so I have a spotless background.
I applied when I first moved here and nothing since.

Then there's something you missed or are not sharing.
I didn't have any previous out-of-state documentation or CCWs prior to that.

There's something YOU missed.
Counties like Monterey will issue CCW.
Counties like Alameda or CCC don't.
It's also why Alameda Sheriff shut down gun ranges as "nonessential" but Solano Sheriff didn't.

So the problem isn't the state, it's the county?
Lol whatever happened to 'move out if you don't like it'? Isn't that generally what people do?
