Nice you bought butters runner! I have an assortment of 4.10 3rds and parts (ring gears n such) no body parts though, what are you after?
Ya I picked it up a few weeks ago. Can't wait for it to warm up a bit so I can start working on it.

Hi all,
I recently got my 2002 runner and couldn't be more happy with my truck. Wondering if there are any other guys here on the forum from Northeastern MA (Merrimac Valley) or NH that would be interested in setting up a meet.... My runner is stock for now but I'd like to see what people around here have for mods and maybe get some ideas.... I think it would be pretty cool if we could get a 4runner group going in this area... Any takers?
Hey how's it going, Congrats on your new 4Runner! You've come to the right place for inspiration and Mod ideas! I don't live in Mass but my wife's Fam lives in Marlborough so I'm there all the time on weekends and holidays etc. If i'm out there i'm down to meet up!Also i don't know if your on FB or not but there's a good group on there called Northeast Toyota 4x4 and a majority of the guys on there are from CT and Ma and go wheeling pretty often. Actually the pic at above that Charlie corpse posted was just from a wheeling trip we did a couple of weeks ago in RI right near Putnam CT was a great turnout! My 4runner is the silver one in the pic:yo:
Thanks for the info! I will join the group on Facebook and message me if ur ever in the area... I'm all stock now but I'm thinking about doing some mods.... Are there any trails I could go stock around here?
Yeah that's what we all say next thing you know you'll be looking at lifts and wheels, tires, armour etc haha This forum is highly addictive and tends to have that effect! Yeah i know a couple little local spots, one you can totally do stock i did it the first day i picked up my 4runner haha and the other you can do part of it but then there's a little rock trail that you will definitely need at least a lift, i did it stock skids and before i had my sliders on and was ok but you could easily get banged up if not careful. Im sure there's a bunch more local places i just don't know them yet and people are very particular about letting others know about the certain off road spots because a lot of people go to these places and over abuse the trails which then ruins it for the rest of us!
I'll be in Mass the weekend after next so if your around maybe we can have a little meet and check out a couple of the local spots...
