Polls
I'm not very political, I didn't even vote. I don't care who wins or loses because I don't really believe it will make a difference in how our country is ran. Not to get too far into a rant but I figured I would post up some interesting stats so far from the news:
National results for votes so far:
Mitt Romney has 2,106,744 votes......... 51%
Barrack Obama has 1.985,971 votes..... 49%
Electoral Votes:
Mitt Romney: 33...... 92%
Barrack Obama: 3..... 8%

Yeah, we won't know anything definite until very late tonight or early tomorrow, but I could sure live with a final result like those early returns--92% Romney is just fine with me! And there is NO DOUBT that whoever wins will have a HUGE impact on the direction of this country--we've already seen some terrible directional shifts under Obama, and I don't want to see where four more years of his ideas will land us. And no, I'm not getting into any debates or arguments about it here--politics and religion usually just turn ugly in anonymous formats like this.

@SV_DUde, like I've been saying all day...
I like poles, in fact, I love them. I watch them as much as possible.
Back to our normally scheduled banter then?

Glad to see Obama pulled it out. I wanted to vote for whomever brings back a Runner with a V8 option though.

only pole I'm interested in, is typically shiny and silver.
4 more years of the big O? Time to stock up on ammo, cause this country is going into the chittr.

Appears the overwhelming Countries opinion is different than yours. If the other would have won, we would have to stock up on a lot more than ammo.

A sad day for our country in my opinion.
I will give Obama credit for one thing....He said we would see change and we did. Highest unemployment rates for one term and instead of 3 trillion its like 17 trilllion now. It is change!

We finally agree, "No voting is a no-no." You are so correct! While, I am thrilled President Obama won, I hope both sides can find common ground! Furthermore, I hope the extremes on both sides quietly slip away....No one is coming after anyone's guns, and the government needs to not just give everything away...

What can I say....the people have spoken, and times are changing. Like it or not, we are well on our way to european-style socialism. The fact is, these social programs cost money; much more money than the one-percenters alone can provide. The real losers here are our children and grandchildren who will be strapped with crushing debt and stifling taxes.
