How do you like your homemade coffee?

So I'm feeling a little ambitious thi morning and would like to know how you like your coffee. My old thing is getting old, so lets hear it!

And please don't include Starbucks, dunkin donuts, Chick-Fil-A, McDonald's, etc.

Have at it!

Boil some water in a kettle. Turn it off. Dump a scoop or two of grounds innit. Let it sit, pour it through a filter into a cup. Throw the cup and kettle and filter and everything out the window and grab a Mountain Dew, because coffee is nasty.

I mostly drink straight espresso from my Nespresso machine. I might have french press coffee once a week on weekends. Usually whole bean from trader joes and I brew some cinnamon along with it then mix it with coconut milk. No sugar or artificial bs.

I just don't like you any more. How dare you?!

Coffee is life. If I'm running late I'll just chew a few roasted beans to get me going...

Lol. Chocolate covered coffee beans aren't that bad. But most other things that don't include hot water are.

I don't have those expensive things lol. I'm going to look into it after my paycheck though, I've heard good things of them.

I had a tinge of buyer's remorse after I bought it, but then when I took it on deployment it was solid gold. It makes wonderfully consistent espresso. Depending on your intake, it can be very economical. You could in theory pay for the machine with savings in as little as 6 months.

Nespresso $0.62
Starbucks $2

So a conservative $1.50 margin per drink. After a $50 credit for my initial capsule order my break even point was 133 capsules at those numbers. You can only get the capsules from the Nespresso website, but their patent on them ran out this year so there should be some "fill your own" types coming soon if not already.

During the week = auto Mr. Coffee pot and a pre-heated mug to bring joe with me to work.

During the weekend, I use a french press cause it just tastes better!

BUT the key, some of the best coffee ever! Community Coffee! Can't drink anything else.
90% of the time, just the Dark Roast, but for holidays and special occasions chicory coffee!

I like your french press and I have that same coffee bean grinder :P I'm going out and buying a press soon. My coffee pot that I have here in the barracks shattered last week which is good because I needed the extra motivation to go out and buy a new press! I wish I had my press from home but the fiance uses it :P

Fast and easy! A push of a button on the ol' Saeco Vpresso.

Of course it goes a little better with a laptop.
