I don't get why people don't like them, maybe its an elitist thing. Mine works well and does what I need from it.

I just had a bad experience with them. It was part of my EDC for less than a month as the button became unreliable and would require me to click it 2-3 times for it to come on. now just sits in my bench drawer.

I suspect there may be a little bit of that going on - Olight's are relatively inexpensive when compared to Surefire and Streamlight. That's cool, to each their own.

That is an understandable experience that I can see why they would turn you off to them. So far no issues with mine, but mine is just my bed side gun for right now. Hopefully I can transition it to my carry gun after I get some mods on it.

That is what I suspect 90% of it is. Our duty guns have the Streamlight TRL-1's on them and my G42 has the TLR-6 on it. But for what I use my O-light for it works perfectly. Love the rechargeability of it.

Picked up this PTR 9CT in November. SBR'd it and added the A2 stock. So far it runs great with 115-147gr projectiles. Will eventually throw a turn with a 3-lug can on it.

Are guns and ammo now illegal?
Went to the range and they have zero ammo to sell and zero guns to sell.

I need to get a shorter suppressor for this one, but it does the job.

What is anyone's experience with on-line ammo sales? Sketchy or is it a legitimate way to purchase? 9mm is non-existant around here these days.

I have bought ammo online before. Same as buying anything else. Though some States no longer allow ammo to be delivered to your home. Check your local laws.
But it's been several years since I've bought any online or in store

9MM Really?
That stuff used to be all over the place... I'm surprised...I've never purchased online.
BTW Where's "here"? I'm in NY.... got shortages here also but so far 9mm aint too bad. seems like .22, .40 are getting scarce.

I have purchased most of my ammo online. Just make sure you buy from reputable sites. As for 9mm, good luck finding any at a reasonable price. A year ago, I paid $189 shipped to my door for a case of 9mm. That same case is $699 today.
