All I wanted was a cheap 12 gauge like any Mossberg 500 series beside the mossy turkey version- seems I'm a couple years late.....

Looks for a Mossberg Maverick combo with 2 barrels. 1 barrel for small game hunting and 1 barrel for home defense / deer slugs.

Thanks - have you bought through that site? It's refreshing to see things that are actually available to purchase because I am running into a lot of Out Of Stock. It is like an eBay for guns or are there new firearms as well? I registered - I'll look more closely.
Edit - the FFL fee is off-putting but I guess I'm just new to online purchasing.

Has anyone had any dealings with dryfireltd.com? If so, did you actually receive their product ... in a timely mater? Did it work? Sounded great, but I wish I had read read the comments on FaceBook.

Sorry for the slow reply. I've probably bought 20+ guns off of gunbroker over the years. I have a couple preferences when using GB.
1. Seller must take a credit card. Dealing with Postal Money Orders is not worth it to me.
2. Seller must state shipping amount. Shipping can easily kill a deal on there for me.
3. Seller needs to have good feedback. I read their negative feedbacks to see what I'm dealing with. I've only left 1 F feedback for a dealer that listed an item for sale but didn't have the item in stock.
4. Seller must have the item in stock. If they have a gun shop, I'll google their shops name and call them to make sure it's in stock.
Gunbroker has a good FFL finder.
Find an FFL Near You - GunBroker.com
This is handy as you might find some small coffee table dealers that work from home and charge less in transfer fees. $10 to $20 is normal for my rural area of Missouri. $20 to $50 was normal in the Chicago burbs where I used to live.

Good points. The FFL fees have gotten insane here in NJ. Upwards of $100 or more. My M&P9 I got off gunbroker and they had listed a little hole in the wall gun shop that literally was around the corner from my old office and I never knew it was there. Just a door with a number on it in the back of a building. They charged me $20 and were great.

Yup, pretty much
Luckily, Mossberg just came out with a new 590 series so it looks like I can grab something after all.....

I have a couple side by sides that I shoot mini-shells out of. Good for kids as they have very little recoil.

Remington to pay $73M to victims of Sandy Hook ... Excellent. Now who makes the AR15?
