Sorry to take so long, I've been dealing with problems at work.
That is a great price, I paid $500 for mine as well, used and it's a great gun!
I bought extra clips for the range, the clips from the factory are made by Mecgar so check them out if you want more clips.

The Beretta 92 is a nice gun, my Taurus PT92 is a clone and it works great. The only ammo I can't shoot in it is the cheap Winchester target ammo they sell at Wal-mart.

Hmm, there are magazines greater than 15 rds for the 92? (I have a 92FS)
Got any photos? I'm curious as to how they look, they must extend below the grip a bit.

Oh yeah, you can get em at any gunshow. I got ours for $18 for my dad as an xmas present. And you're right, hold your mag with the follower touching the bottom of the grip and thats what it looks like lol

Thought about doing either that or IDPA, but the ranges/events are so far away from me that I'd never get any practice time. So instead I just sit at home and fondle my Sig P229.

These guns aren't bad, aren't bad at all. However, I just traded with a friend a very old Colt .38 Detective Special for this Ruger 357.

Les Baer Concept VII, .45 ACP, (Commander size) all blue, all match grade from the factory, 4 pound trigger, guaranteed 3" at 50 yards from the factory, all serial numbered to match the pistol. (Sold)
Colt Detective Special .38 Special , bobbed and chopped (removed hammer and Daouble Action Only).
Smith and Wesson 586 .357 Magnum, 4", blue.
Colt Lightweight Officer's, .45 ACP, full length guide rod, reverse spring plug, trigger job, long trigger.
Browning Hi Power III 9mm, Belgium/Portugal, forged and not cast, high gloss blue, The one and only Hi-Power, choice of more spec ops units than any other pistol.
Single action--Cocked and locked all the way. Jeff Cooper is my god.
