Looks like a nice setup. Very similar to what I've been picturing in my head - I have a lower and a scope waiting to be slapped onto something.

Thanks man! I actually just threw in a Rise Armament RA-140 SST over a mil-spec variant trigger assembly, and that made a world of a difference. This thing is a dead ringer with that 68gr Frontier BTHP round.

When I lived in Monterey county, I don't think they were issuing any more. I took my S&W's and AR and moved out of state.

It's may issue with good cause. CCC Sherrif issues like 300 of them a year. You need to give money to the Sheriff's department, not even have a SPEEDING TICKET in your background check, and two letters of recommendation from the Sheriff's Posse saying you're of good moral standing.

Wish we had a gun rights president and Congress that would pass CCW reciprocity and I could just use my FL permit here.

Do you deal in cash, narcotics, or jewelry? If you deal in any of those, its not too hard to get a CCW even in libtard land.

If you can't get one issued to you, check your local laws to see what the penalty is for getting caught with a loaded handgun is when not used in a crime..... You will be surprised.

lol i am in kommiefornia...

I just bought the registered pistol lower before they fell under the libtard ban hammer here.

Seriously, I think it was the best firearm purchase Ive ever made b/c i enjoy shooting them so much.

I just wished I bought more in 2011.

Assembled this one the other day. All PSA except for the carry handle. Have $460 into it. Haven't shot a 20 inch since I got out of the Army Reserves in 1999.

Just need a sling. Joins my 4 other AR's.
Aint she pretty?

I have a SP-1 20", I think a 16" CAR barrel will work after reading about 'Nam SF carbines. After trying the new carbines, some went back to the full stock.

Here's my home defense pistol. Nearest neighbor is about a mile away.

Edited to add put this one in the T4R last night.

Finished converting my neutered Norinco Mak-90 into a Polytech AKS clone. Replaced with a Polytech spiker front sight base, milled Bulgarian AK gas block, and Chicom furniture which I stained then coated with shellac. Threaded the barrel to accept a 14x1LH muzzle nut.

Before (center rifle):

Now:

Looking for a milled Mak-90 to do the same spiker conversion, except with an underfolder stock over fixed.

Absolutely beautiful. Are you getting any cheek slap with that stock and angle?
