CA had a brief moment of amnesty this year when standard capacity magazines were briefly legal, but they clamped back down on it.
10 is the limit right now, except LEOs because some animals are more equal than others.

Official T4R "Firearms" thread
Sig P226 CO2... very realistic.
Safety is the decocker. Mag release works. All other controls are fake (but look real). 2x8 round mag.

You can be in possession of them too. Just not loaded. Yes. Soo stupid.

for anyone that cares, this worked perfectly. I got just enough clearance to drop the scope in, without any binding.
it does mount the eyepiece slightly too far forward though. so, I will probably be removing about 1/2" off the rear of the mount. its a double mount at that position. I will remove just enough to move the entire mount back one notch on the rail, and not interfere with the charging handle. should be just right.

Picked up a cheapie - $250 S&W SD9VE. Wanted a under $300 truck gun / loaner gun.
The reviews on the gun are true - the stock trigger sucks!
I personally am not a fan of the S&W M&P jointed triggers either. Had a M&P Shield that I gave to my sister in-law. Hated that trigger, as a left hander, the single side right hand only thumb safety annoyed me as well.
I added an Apex trigger / spring kit for $44 to it. It's apples and oranges better now. Smooth and lightweight in the pull. Like a Glock with a trigger job now.
I was surprised at how much it disassembles like a Glock.
If I run across another one cheap - $200 to $250, I'll grab it.

This is the last one I bought. A Tikka CTR chambered in .308
I also inherited my dads Marlin Model 60 .22LR recently.
Both are great shooters.
