Not 100% clone accurate because I am using a Rainier Arms SBR'd receiver and an AAC M4200 over the SF SOCOM.

Finally decided to make a dedicated home defense gun out of the 1911. The Streamlight off the G19 is going on the 1911 w/Recover Tactical grip. The G19 will be going from stock to build eventually. Figured after 13 years she deserves an upgrade.
Plans for the G19
- Olight PL-Mini 2 Valkyrie
- Tenicor SAGAX LUX2 AIWB holster
- Legion Precision Slide Cut/Cerakote
- Holosun 507C

By luck I was able to pick up a Ruger PC9 carbine a week ago. I have only fired a few rounds through it, and so far I really like it. As most reviews have said, it is like a 10/22 only with more power. I did pick up a couple of G19 mags and changed the well on it to run those because the Ruger 17 round mag is just a bear to load. The big problem right now is the lack of availability of 9mm rounds.

Get an UpLula if you don't have one already. I use mine all the time to load double stack mags.
maglula | Tools for loading and unloading magazines
I also use their Lula loaders for my AK and AR mags.

I too like my Ruger PC9. Really easy to shoot with the iron sight.

I did see those, but I am afraid it will make it that much easier to go through what few rounds I have. The iron sights are pretty good, although I have read some good reviews about the TandemKross fiber optic sights. Less than $60 for the front and rear.

I've looked at those TK sights. I really like the factory protected front sight and rear peep sight. Holding off for now. Fiber Optic Sights are great though.
Side note: Here are some cheap ($9.99) 33rd Korean Glock Mags. Reviews are decent. I have some on order and have bought other SHK mags (AR15 & AK) from this company before.
SHK 33rd Glock 9mm Magazine UPC: 00850003223063 - Global Ordnance
Note shipping is $12.95 whether you buy 1 mag or 10 mags.
Years ago I tried some KCI Korean Glock 33rd mags. They were garbage - tons of plastic flashing between the 2 metal mag bodies that prevented the follower from moving.
