Sad but true!! With our government, it takes WAY more than one president to fix our government. However, I do believe that with the right man with our country's best interest at heart will be able to make a big difference. Too bad those types of people will never be elected into office.

Yeah, the reason why we're in the craphole that we're in is because of folks like you that like people based on pure razzle dazzle campaign (with zero substance). Think about it.
Why did you vote for Obama in 2008? He was a very inexperience leader. Zero experience. Zero substance. Pure pipe dream promises. Would you say that Obama 2008 was a better leader than Romney 2012?
You voted for him because he went on MTV and made "cool" lines. Lets be honest here RonM. You did NOT even know that Obama had Democratic Senate AND House during his first two years!! You just quoted the Democratic lines without even bothering to do an ounce of research! Until i pointed it out to you, you had no clue! Nada. Did you even bother to vet any of Obama's claims?? THAT is the problem with American people! You voted for him because he was "cool," not because he offered a better plan/policy for America. Why lie to yourself, RonM??
And, of course, now that Obama can't keep any of his major promises, it's too late. American people will suffer greatly. NO, it's not the rich that suffer...it's the very people who masturbates to Obama smiles that will suffer the greatest.

It's bad when alot of Republicans (including those in office) are critical of their own kind and have admitted their party is a mess and needs to work to convince the voting public they are changing but with Romney it seemed he wanted the title but not everything that came with it. I think his wife was more butthurt they lost and their son comes out and says his dad didn't really want to be president. Really? I think we dodged a bullet but hopefully both parties can gert their heads out of their asses and realize the people in this country should be the #1 prioroty but neither party views it like that.
Maybe in 4 years we'll have a real competent showdown in this country but if the Republicans can't offer a real plan to fix things then it'll continue to be a Dem in office.

BUT, one president can make our situation A LOT WORST. Example? Obama. The WRONG man can make a huge difference. The WRONG man can make us look like a bunch of pansies to the world (ex: Libya). The WRONG man can totally ruin the reputation of an award forever (ex: Nobel Peace Prize)...in fact, he is the total opposite of that Prize!!

Not the 1% but you are in the 1.5%.
Wrong man is right and you sure weren't very vocal about the Bush era problems. I'd be inpressed if you could take a bi-partisan stance on some things but if it's what you think then you must be right.

Hopefully, in 4 years, you will do more reading!! And if you're gonna claim to be an "independent", then at least act the part dude!
A half-assed Romney will still do better than Obama. Look at what Obama has done up till now. GM still sucks and losing money. (Chrysler was sold to Fiat.) Our foreign policy is non-existent...and we're the joke of Middle East. Our economy is crap. Our companies are more interested in cutting jobs and eliminating full-time positions rather than investing back into the economy with innovations and jobs. Obamacare won't cover anyone worth a damn! Obamacare will single-handedly costs millions of jobs!!
Good job RonM et al. for doing your research before voting...good job! Yeah, you guys "won" alright...losers in the end.

I've voted for Republicans (Reagen,Bush sr.)in the past but the beginning of the new millenium was ruined by a Republican party so excuse me of being gun shy for now.

Oh, is it still Bush's fault for your wife's job cuts? That's classic man! Bi-partisan? Again, i was not too critical of Clinton, was i??? I want what is best for this country...because what is best for this country is what is best for me! THAT is the difference b/w you and me, RonM. Because of your lack of reading/research, you are short-sighted in your views.

Romney got crushed in the election so obviously americans saw a problem with the Republicans and feared them worse than another 4 years of Obama. my vote wouldn't have changed a thing. Romney isn't about uinions either and with a few meetings with our union Obama was the safest for the future of my job.

I'm not blaming Bush for our current issues but he sure put things in motion with a war we can't win and plunging the country further into debt just started a chain reaction but even before that we have been a slow decline but it's accelerated alot over the last 12 years. I don't think Obama is golden by far but like I said I'm gun shy of the Republicans. If you think I could change would you change if a credible Democrat was running or do you vote as blind as you say I do?

Ford Explorer sold way more than your 3rd gen 4runner...does that mean that it was a better choice?
Every vote counts. That was why Romney lost. Dumb Republicans who were waiting for the perfect candidate stayed home in protest...only to realize that they were basically voting for Obama!
Ahhhhhhhhh...now, we get to the basic reason why you voted for Obama...and never for Republican. You're a freaking union member!! No wonder. Now, i know why you did not even bother to do any reading. Unions need to die. It is an outdated practice in this country.

Yes, you are. You have always used Bush to blame Obama's failed policies. Even now.
Ahh...and you think that Obama multi-faceted involvement in the MIddle East is any less stupid???? Really??!! Arab Spring is a good thing? Remember, Libya?
Yes, i would vote for Democratic candidate if he/she proves adequate for office of the presidency.
But, YOU...you're a UNION member. That explains everything.

It's your opinion and without a union here I wouldn't even make a liveable wage and this isn't the auto union which has abused it's power. I make a decent wage and my job is protected and don't fault me for the job I chose and I have to do what's best for me and not you. I can't help that it's outdated and I'm not thrilled with our union but it's my life and I can't start over now as I'm close to retirement and a pension.

I was a member of Local 32 for years before I joined the USCG and still voted republican. Unions aren't all bad
