Wow...that is why we tend to stand as far away as possible when "yanking" someone...in my old days. But then again, our vehicles were usually better conditioned than that Jeep.

This stuff scares the hell out of me. When I was 19 I caught a tow rope with my right eye after it snapped trying to pull my old 4th gen out. The only reason I still have that eye is because the rope met my arm first and slowed enough for me to shut my eyes. I'm an lucky SOB to not only have my eyes today, but be back to 20/20 after a night in the ER and emergency surgery, and a long recovery process. Lesson definitely learned, we should all take recovery safety EXTREMELY serious. If I can find pics, I'll post 'em
