What an elegant and enlightened speech... Thanks for sharing it. Did u notice Obama's face? He didn't seem too thrilled to be there since he probably disagrees with most of what Dr. Carson said. Maybe he can run Obamacare. Now if we can get Joe Arpaio to handle Obamnesty we might be ok. (right)

Answer: the White House.

Obama is actually pretty non-leftist with regards to school education. He has furthered Bush's policies and is has raised funding for charter school programs even more. He also was a big proponent of the Gates Foundation push for standardized testing which most teachers unions are against.

These days most of the voting public doesn't stand with the teachers union policies. Linking test scores to teacher evaluations has huge support nationally and is no longer a liberal / conservative issue.

Not sure if you are saying you agree with this or disagree, but imo this is one of the most misguided initiatives in education we've seen in our lifetime.
