They keep pushing this sh!t here all the time. But since they don't impound their vehicles anymore or anything else for that matter, its become defacto legalization.

I guess I would wonder who would voluntarily go to a govt office if they are here illegally...
I wish there was an insurance requirement before they could get a license. Paid in full, up front, no exceptions.

The shit-hole state of Maryland where I live also gives drivers licenses to Illegal Aliens.
And on top of that, it gives them the right to vote, with no questions asked.
And the left-wing alien-pandering governor Martin O'Taxme got an "In-state college tuition for Illegals" legislation passed. They are costing me and other working citizens in the state over $1.5 Billion dollars a year in hand outs.

I'm sure the illegal aliens will properly insure their vehicles to go along with their shiny new licenses, which I assume are "good enough" to register for and vote in the local elections as well.
The only thing more infuriating than being hit by an uninsured illegal is that the laws are so pathetic and PC that the local cops can't do anything about them driving uninsured or the simple fact that they are in the country... illegally. You're left with a totaled car, they are arrested as a formality then set free in 24 hours.
It's so mindblowing I can't even get my head around it.

Just wait till Obamnesty goes through and they all get on Obamacare $$$$$$. At my sons school, they feed 'em breakfast AND lunch. If u can't afford to feed ur kids, STOP HAVING SO MANY!!! Of course my kid doesn't qualify(wouldn't accept it anyway), even though I've been out of work for years(heavy equipt. op.). I mean, why pay me $45 an hour, when Julio Foolio will do it for minimum wage! Sh!t I gotta stop before I kill something!

Funny you should mention that because my wife's company may transfer her to Arlington. Hows Arlington?

A few years back I was working on a customer car and had to test drive it. I was going down a street that T'd to a main road, one left turn and/or straight ahead lane and one right hand lane. The illegal did not signal and decided to cut accross my lane quickly to get to the liquor store on my right, T'boned his car and he tried to crank it over and run. Then when I went to talk to him he was ignoring me and calling his friend or whatever on the phone all in non-english of course. I showed him I took a picture of his license plate (dealership was just down the block and I needed to get my Service Manager, the man refused to walk with me) and told him not to leave the scene or come with me to get my superior.
5 mins later my boss and I got there and he had fled, filled a police report and a week or two later they let me know the guy was in another city, illegal, and no insurance or driver's license. I don't know what happened to the customer or her car, I felt bad because she really liked that car. I don't know if the guy was just an idiot or didn't know how to drive (probably a little of column a and a little of column b), then again.. he wasn't licensed, wasn't insured, and wasn't a legal resident so that should answer that.
I'm sympathetic to imigrants to this country; my parents risked their lives escaping communist Romania to come to this country (was born 7mo out of country before we made it here as refugees.) We're legal citizens and now I am a naturalized member of the US. I understand not everyone is lucky enough or has the proper means to get past our inane immigration regulations and tests (seriously... who the hell knows half the questions on that crap? The imigrants learn more about this country than your average high schooler just to pass the test...) So I am in a way sympathetic to illegal imigrants, but I am very clear cut on the people I have sympathy for.
The imigrants I have met who do their best to get work, support their families, start a new life, and contribute to this country in some fashion are the backbone of this country. Sure they might not be legal and many of them aren't because our system has failed them... but the truth is this country was created by refugees, populated by imigrants, and built on the backbone of Freedom and welcoming arms. How many of those Irish imigrants and such that built the cities like New York were legal back in the day? Did they not sweat their blood and tears to build a home for their family and raise the concrete monuments to American Freedom and Capitalism? These people I believe deserve at least an honest opportunity to make their case and become citizens.
Those that hop the border to just funnel money out of our country, abuse our welfare systems, clog up and overwhelm our country's resources and over all make no effort in any way to contribute to their country deserve to be treated like the vermin and parasites they act like.
In my eyes a citizen is a person who upholds their loyalty to ideals of family, home and country. They contribute and support their country and seek to better themselves and the country itself in any way they can. When the country calls upon them for their service, be it voting, polling, or drafting they do their service and uphold their duty.
I'm not an American because I own guns, drink beer, and drive a gas guzzling V8 SUV. I'm an American because I believe in Freedom, the Constitution, Honor, and Loyalty to the Flag I have had the good fortune to be brought under. Oorah
