My Axial Wraith build

Well I got this Axail Wraith as a Christmas prestent, and this is soo cool, so much fun, and LOTS cheaper to mod then my 4Runner
Stock:

just like any rig, if you wheel it hard enough, and long enough, you are bound to break something lol

So the C-hubs, knuckles, and the axles were upgraded, along with the trailing arms.
Added some paint, the paint it comes with is just to "clean" lol, I also painted the springs:

Here you can see the upgraded tailing arms and the painted springs:

Next mod was the Battery Forward, this helps moving the weight forward, keeping it from doing wheelies all the time lol

A few action shots:

This is one of the few times of "Muddin"

Looks sick man. I opted for the axial scx10 instead just because it looked more realistic to me. But I've definitely been building it and wheeling it like a real truck just like you! Oh and breaking it too haha

Well looks like I totally missed that question you posted a ways back. But here's a belated answer haha. I will be soon. Just blew my esc a while back so I bought a Novak eiger crawling esc along with a 35t motor. I'm gonna be building my own waterproof box to house it all in so I think I may do a build thread on rcc. Hopefully ill get my brazing setup soon and can finally cage it and do a custom back end. Oh and I recently got a new HPI mini trophy Ivan Stewart edition .

That new esc/motor and shocks should be fun. Didn't the wraiths come with 55t motors stock though? I can't remember. If so your gonna enjoy the new wheel speed.

Very Nice! I used to be in into the RC world. I hate to be the party pooper, but doesn't this belong in the off topic section?

My stock axial motor was a 27t so maybe it was that. Who knows. Either way the 35t is the best balance in my opinion. Just play with the pinion gear till your happy.
