Vaping, who else does it?

So, I started vaping a few weeks ago in an effort to quit smoking. If you're unfamiliar with it the. Here's a quick rundown. The mod (battery pack on the bottom) provides electricity to a coil that is fed fluid through a wick. When the coil is energized it burns the fluid creating a vapor. You smoke this instead of cigarettes. The fluids come in hundreds of flavors and some are quite tasty! I used to smoke about a pack a day since I was... Well... Too young. Since I started vaping 3 weeks ago I have smoked less than a few packs of cigarettes and have now been cigarette free for 5 days.

The contents of the juice you put in the tanks are not harmful and you choose your level of nicotine in these juices. Vaping has become a good source to stop smoking because of the two types of addictions to cigarettes. The first type of addiction is the addiction to the nicotine. Because you choose your level of nicotine, this solves the first type of addiction. The second type of addiction is the addiction to the habit of actually smoking a cigarette. Well, the form of vaping is similar to smoking cigarettes so this also checks that block too.

Anyways, I just wanted to see who else is doing this and what your results are to stop smoking, what setups are you using and what flavors do you like?

Here's my setup: vamo mod with a protank kanger tank. I'm vaping a blueberry juice and swapping between blueberry and Mountain Dew.

They are coming out with some crazy stuff these days, but I'm happy to hear it's helping you quit. I have never smoked a cigarette in my life due to my dad smoking for years, but I know how hard it is to quit by watching him. Good luck and vape on good sir.

I quit after 27 years of smoking, no vapor, just patches and disere to be around for my son, surprisingly it was easier then I thought it would be.
if this sh1t help you quit then for all means do it.

I'm still a smoker, but I have one from Freedom Smoke USA I also bought my mom one a while back. They definitely work if you want to stop smoking. The nicotine is still there but hey, better than cigarettes. It's water vapor and nicotine.

I never really bought many flavors. I think I had some whiskey flavored one that was pretty good and...mango, peach, pina colada... strawberry watermelon. I dunno, they have hundreds of flavors.

There are plenty of stupid people in this world that will ensure that doctors never go unemployed. If anything, doctors cured natural selection and pretty much guaranteed themselves a job for ever!

Thank goodness for those folks...but unfortunately, a lot of them have no insurance! So, it's a wash! Well, Obamacare and cuts in payment are what puts doctors out of business...but that's another matter.

I did not know about these Vaping systems...geez, i need to get myself updated with these things. I just know about patches, Chantix/Wellbutrin, and those electronic cigarrettes that i see all the time in malls.

Very interesting concept. And yeah, you guys need to stop smoking! That is one horrible addiction! Good luck.

The future docs is what scares me! I have cause to visit the LSU Med School in New Orleans weekly for work.

I watched a white-coat student, face buried in his phone, walk to an automatic door. When it didn't open, he damn near run face first into it, he started waving his hand up towards the motion sensor. Still nothing. He leaned in to look thru the glass. Nothing. Shrugged his shoulders and walked away.

What he failed to see was the giant black and white sign awkwardly hung at eye level, that clearly stated, in English, that the door was out of service (construction going on inside) and the arrow directing him to another door...

Isn't the easiest way to quit smoking to just not put a cigarette in your mouth and light it?

Unfortunately, like most profession, there are idiots in the medical field.

Lmao hopefully he's better at being a doctor. But Vaping is awesome I have a small one compared to that one. Caramel and Grape soda are mmm mm m tasty.. But I still smoke cigarettes just since Vaping to me doesn't feel the same, but now i'm working towards quitting, down to 4 a day from the pack i was smoking of camel menthols per day if not more.

Everyone has their addiction, whether it be food, soda, drinking, driving fast, smoking, etc. just telling someone to stop or telling yourself that you're going to stop doesn't work for everyone. I am very weak when it comes to my habits. But this is a very good system and a healthy way for me to quit. It is also turning into somewhen of a cheap hobby for me. Plus, it's much cheaper than cigarettes.

That thing looks like a cross between a nose hair trimmer and a light saber.

Whatever your vice is, It ain't easy.

I quit Diet Coke (and all soda-like beverages) just this past June 1st. I've replaced it with water. Lots and lots of water. You'd think I was a damn fish I drink so much of it. I have huge cravings from time to time but I have also figured out what triggers them.
Impulse buy when checking out at Home Depot/Lowes.
Road trip stops at c-stores for gas and food.
Down time. (Like when waiting on a connecting flight or between meetings/appointments and there's nothing else to do but sit and wait)
