I’ll tell you what... Shia Lebeouf may be a ripe ding-a-ling in real life but boy howdy did his acting impress me in Fury.
And that dude who played the Captain that asked them to advance to their final battle scene, the dude from The Patriot,,holy shiete dude with the accent change. That blows my mind how some cats can do that and make it so authentic sounding.
I was beyond impressed with "Hostiles". Sure, it has a bit of an agenda, but it really doesn't bash you over the head with it, like some movies do. I think it is by far the best western movie made in a VERY long time. The cinematography and scenery were jaw dropping. Having explored a good bit of the western US myself, they could have made the movie 10 hours and I would never have been bored. Christian Bale and Rosamund Pike have never been two of my favorite actors, but they did just fine in this.
I thought that was just okay. Decent watch but nothing too impressive in my opinion. I mainly just watched it to see Odenkirk because I'll probably just watch anything with him in it at this point.
