Hey guys, here's a girls advice!! First let me say I have been married for 12 years and am very happy, we have been together since I was 17 I am now 33.

Bars & clubs are not the right place to meet women, most of them are there looking for free drinks, a night away from hubby or even a sugar daddy. More than likely you will end up doing something you will regret later.

There are a few guys that have said the right thing and that is to have fun!! Your young, don't worry about being in a committed relationship. Enjoy life and live it to its fullest. Once your in that relationship your freedom is over.

Another thing to think about is opposites attract…..I wish my husband loved 4Runners as much as I do but every time I talk about 4Runners he's like omg.
Example I used to be an indoor girl and he's a outdoors kinda guy, well now I love going to the mountains maybe even a little more than him. Same thing with football

But it all comes down to enjoying life, have fun, be happy, no regrets!!!!!!!

It is very much a college scene, house parties and bars kind of place.

Almost everyone goes out to the bars, lounges and clubs a few times a year. It isn't just "those type of girls"

I've met doctors, lawyers, nurses and other career women out on the town over the years, all beautiful, at least back when I was single.

The scene downtown is quite good. There is something for everyone.

I'm just stepping in because several people (from CO) have said negative things about the over 21 nightlife. Here in SD it is what you make of it and there really is a place for everyone. All kinds of girls go out on the town and there is no typical bar girl. The only thing people downtown on a Saturday night have in common is that they have money to burn. Btw I'm also a big fan of bbqs and house parties.

I think the real advice for going out to over 21 establishments is:
* don't go out looking for a GF, just try to meet new people
* don't get drunk if you are trying to talk to women
* again, don't get drunk; keep your wits
* drinking and driving = jail and possible NJP

my roommates recently found this phone app called Tinder. I paid almost zero attention to them talking about it until I wake up one morning and there are two attractive girls ive never met before hanging around in my kitchen. Next week, there was another one, and tomorrow one of my buddies is driving in to denver to meet up with yet another one? I have no need for this newfangled technology, but it seems like it works.

on a separate note, I work with a guy who has it figured out. Just buy a Ferrari and toss the keys like an a**hole onto every bar you sit down at and see what happens.

There is truth to this. Women can sense when you are hard up and trying too hard.
I've met the nicest women when I was out doing routine things around town.
The bar scene isn't that great unless you want short term relationships. That's where I met my first ex-wife...LOL!!
