Just an insane game in the snow. The heavy stuff that was falling over Philly is now falling here in Doylestown. Last weekend I had brand new Cooper Discoverer AT3's installed on my 4 Runner. Can't wait to check them out on my ride to work tomorrow.

I always love football (playing or watching) in the snow.

Here she is: 68 Firebird with a 68 400 that is bored .030 over. I re-did the top end last winter and the motor now has a set of lightly ported #12 (Ram Air III) heads, a Crower 60919 cam, an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake and a re-worked Quadrajet carb. I run that set up through Hooker headers into a 2-1/2" Flowmaster exhaust system. The rest of the drivetrain is a Muncie 4 speed trans and a 69 Camaro 12 bolt posi rear with an Eaton posi unit and 3:73 gears. The color is the original 1968 Pontiac only color of Verdoro Green and it has the factory parchment (off white) interior with a matching white vinyl top.

After watching if it were me & had the bucks would do the top & match the mag wheels , always liked that yr in both firebird & camaro !

Those tires are excellent. We've been putting them to good use over the past week.

It does sound sweet. After doing the top end of the motor I ran it through a buddy's desktop dyno and it said that the motor should be putting out just over 425HP. Add to that the light weight of the car (3400lbs) and the 3:73 rear and she really moves.

As for the top I went with the white top over the black top because the car came from the factory originally with a white vinyl top. I researched the car and very few Verdoro Green Firebirds were made and even less with a white vinyl top. If I ever do the car over again, I think I'm going to go without a vinyl top altogether, but that may be many years away.

Yes that red Mustang is an 86 GT T-top car with a 5.0, 5 speed, and a 3:73 rear. It was a blast in nice weather to pop out the T-tops and cruise. Before I scored my 4 Runner I had 2 daily drivers. The 86 Mustang and a 94 Jeep Wrangler. I used to drive the Mustang on nice days from May-October and the Jeep on rainy days and in the winter. I LOVED having 2 older vehicles to cruise and NO car payments. Eventually I just got to a point where I figured I deserved a nicer vehicle and I had always heard good things about 4 Runners. Once I scored my 02 4R Sport, I liked it so much that I just unloaded the Jeep and the Mustang.

When I bought the 4 Runner, I sold the Jeep and planned on keeping the Mustang and the Firebird. Unfortunately I sold it last spring because I just never had the time to fiddle with it.

I personally don't think the white top looks bad, especially being a factory item.

I'm jealous man- very nice ride. I've been passively looking for an old muscle car, but I have to wait at least one more year. Until then, I'll just admire cars like yours'.
