Anyone else listen to late 90s, early 2000s rock?
So the wife is working, and I'm sitting here drinking and reminiscing about what I listened to in high school. Finding all kinds of things on youtube! Its funny, I still know the words to these songs after all these years. Finger Eleven, Creed (My Own Prison), Tool, STP, Pearl Jam, Trapt, Chevelle...anyone else remember this stuff?

My iphone is a smorgasbord of different music from the past 60 years, and yes there's quite a bit of rock from those times.
When I die, I'm going to need someone to destroy the evidence of what I have on there.

Never saw the Crue, but I have seen Iron Maiden, Triumph, Loverboy & KISS. That about does it for the "hair" bands. Always wanted to see Whitesnake. Seen Aldo Nova, huge disappointment

The last Crue show I went to Tommy Lee had the 360* vertical drum circle going, pretty cool. Good show, but only for the nostalgia, not the music.

I seen KISS's `96 reunion tour. I knew every single word to every song they played. OldSchool KISS is what I was about for a long time. After Alive II and Double Platinum I kinda lost interest in them.
It woulda been cool to see Tommy Lee with the swinging drums but oh well lol

More of a 70's and 80's hard rock and hairband fan, but there is some 90's rock I like. Wife is the same way. We've somehow influenced our teenage son--he really likes the 80's hard rock. He's amazed at how many of his friends are unfamiliar with Scorpions, Def Leppard, Van H, etc...

I graduated in '87 so my youth was all about classic hard rock and metal and I even had parents that listened to Bowie,Sabbath,Kiss,Alice Cooper,Floyd, etc. so I just extended my tastes a little further.
I've got over 200 concerts under my belt too and I collect everything I can including tour programs, shirts and a lot of other memorbilia.
The drum head to the right I caught at Ozzfest '97 from Vinnie Paul of Pantera.
Here's sample of my fav programs including my first from Priest's World Vengeance tour in '83.
Got the drum sticks from Vinnie Appice of Sabbath and Dio fame.
First time seeing Metallica.

In 1987, I was in college and enjoying a campus dream job. I was photo editor of the university newspaper. Our basketball center was where the rock concerts were held for Springfield, MO. As photo editor, I got first pick for press credentials. Covered lots of bands as both a photographer and a features writer. When I interviewed Stryper, I understood them, so I didn't ask the typical idiotic questions. They liked my questions. One of the band members suggested I get a photo with the other band members, so he used my Nikon F3 and shot this:
Me with Stryper in the late 1980's by VisualUniverse, on Flickr
I also have photos of me with Night Ranger, but cannot locate the negatives and prints. I covered them on Sept 1, 1987. After the concert, I was interviewing the lead singer and the keyboardist. We were informed we needed to exit the backstage area, so they invited me to head over to the hotel bar. I started to say i can't, but looked at my watch. It was now after midnight, which meant I was now 21...Sept 2 was my birthday. Night Ranger bought me my first beer for my 21st birthday.

I was in HS in the mid-80's so I was exposed to some of the best, and some of the worst music ever! But, I do like 90's, early 2000's rock and I like your list but I'm surprised you left off the best band ever, the FOO!!! (Foo Fighters)
I haven't been to a lot of concerts, but my wife surprised me with tix to see the Foo Fighters a few years ago in DC and that was an amazing concert! They played for 3 full hours and I loved every minute of it!
As for other concerts, my first concert was Ozzy Ozbourne in 1982... It's hard to top that for a first concert!

Tomorrow is 29 years exactly since I saw Iron Maiden on their World Slavery Tour. I've been to lots of great concerts over the years, but I don't have the memorabilia collection like RonMAIDEN has.
Here's the full concert as performed at a later date during the tour.
