Forum Bugged?
In the past two or three weeks, and only occasionally, I'll click on new threads that I haven't read and suddenly my screen changes to a warning that the page might contain malware, viruses and the like. This is happening on my Windows 10 computer, never have experienced it with my iPad.
Yesterday, the browser on my computer jumps to a flashing red page then it starts to sequentially scan files for viruses. I quickly shut down the browser. I ran a virus scan and found nothing.
Just before shutting down the browser, my eye caught the word McAfee. I don't have McAfee installed on my computer.
Anyone else having this issue? Is the forum or the ads bugged? Or is a new ploy for advertising anti-virus software?

Did it again, checking this thread. This time I managed to get a screen capture. And I don't have Norton on my computer either.

Probably a bogus pop-up having nothing to do with McAfee or Norton, just made to look like it's 'scanning your system'. I would do a search on your symptoms (maybe Microsoft has a fix or update), and maybe consider running a legit antivirus to make sure you don't have an infection.

Haven't seen that, but have whatever malware/AV software you use run a thorough scan.

Tonight I had a Norton page, the same as shown above, hit my iPad, the first time I’ve ever seen that happen.
Also iPad related, the forum has been completely rearranged, almost unreadable as sections are seriously misaligned and partly off the screen. I have the latest iOS. I have a hunch its iPad related, as things look normal on my computer.

It's just a pop up ad trying to trick users into clicking. I've seen the same one. Ads have taken over the site.

It's because of stuff like this that I have ran AdBlock plugins of some sort on all my browsers on PCs for 10+ (or more) years. I never see crap like this.
