Speaking of desktop images and XP... we used to prank each other a lot when I was consulting, especially if someone left their computer unlocked and went to lunch or something, which was a big no-no.

We would print screen their desktop and make the image their desktop background. Then hide all icons and the start bar and windows tray. When they come back, watch them ferociously try to click different icons and their start bar to no avail.

Ah, the good ol' days...

I have done the print screen trick a few times. It's also fun to rearrange the keys on someone's keyboard when they don't know how to type. Or on military computers you have to use your ID card to log onto the computers. The sensor is a little micro chip in the ID card that the computer would read. If someone left their ID card laying around we would put a clear piece of tape over it and they wouldn't figure it out for a while on why they cannot log into the computer. The tricks go on and on in the military though.

It's sad to see XP go, but i have Windows 7 with a highly modified UI to replace it

I havan't even used my XP machine since I bought my Core 2 Quad in August 2013
