Done and done.
Bought the runner in Nov. 2017. It's spacious...why not take advantage.

I think technically that would be on your 4Runner, not in it.

I always thought it was a right of passage. No vehicle or new bed is properly broken in until it is broken in properly!
We made it happen back in 1969 in a Sunbeam Alpine and in 1970 in a VW beetle so the Gen 5 4R LTD is a Penthouse. Note the position of the rear glass slider button just in case things get foggy.
Violence and physical force is not ever a good plan when a mosquito lands on your testicles.

I've always wondered if leather seats might inspire B&D in some people?
This reminds me. When the Merc Marquis was around, Car and Driver would lament every year in their new car issue that no De Sade option package was available...

Just broke mine in a couple weeks ago.
My girl and I have often used my Fiesta ST in the past. We're both tall and it's a tiny car but she's flexible.
If you've ever owned an old American truck with a bench seat that reclines, that's the ultimate right there.

Not in my 4Runner, but many moons ago, in a '91 S10 standard cab. Had to put it in first gear to keep the shifter out of the way..
Also in the back of a '76 Nova.. cop let us off with a warning.
And on a bench on running path in Fairfax during the day...
In an early '80's Ford Escort..
And on a school playground one weekend.

Easier- Who hasn't
I loved the 2nd Gen. Was 6 feet bed length with the seats folded down. Camped many nights in the back. Could get the GF to go since we were not on the ground.
Though there was the one time the girl I was dating jumped from passenger to straddling while I was driving...

You gotta move the two front seats all the way forward. And there’s plenty of room in the back
