I live near Fort Worth right now, but I'm getting ready to sell and move to Palm Coast Florida next year. Been fixing up the house getting it ready to go on the market and it's been a job to say the least.

One of my fav home mods I've done. The master bedroom has a set of stairs that go up to the second floor and there's a closet under those stairs. Perfect place for a tv and some hidden flush mounted shelves for components.

Great looking lights!

840 watts though - wow! Enough to keep you warm in the winter but maybe a good excuse to try some LEDs.

I like this thread!

We just finished overhauling a 100 year old duplex that had hoarders living in it for the past 8 years. They pretty much destroyed everything around them.

Hey thanks man!
The switch is definitely still warm when on at full, but we usually only run it at about 3/4. The lights are 360 watts a piece. The single light that's flush to the ceiling has 120 watts in it that's on the same switch.
I'm not opposed to LEDs, but dont want to lose the warmth of this color or the ability to dim them.

Find some with a color temperature around 2700 Kelvin. They look just like regular light bulbs as far as color.

Most electronic dimmers will dim them. If yours won't, find one marked for LED use.

Thanks man. I'll look into them. I'm still well below the dimmers rated capacity, but to be honest I'd be happier if that switch wasn't so hot that's for sure.
