Did a little Polar Vortex grillin' last night. It was in the 20s so not too bad hanging outside with the pup.

I didnt try to read ALL the posts here, so forgive for asking if its been covered, but how do pellet grills compare to to egg, which i know nothing about.
Thanks
I prefer my egg all day. Mostly because it will do so much. Not just smoking. A friend of mine has a pellet grill, and it’s great for smoking. He can set the temp and forget it, as long as it has or holds enough pellets. I’ll do 12+ hours on my egg all the time. He usually requires a refill, which isn’t bad. It all boils down to what you plan on doing with it in the long run.

I picked up a vertical pellet smoker a while ago and love it.
today I cooked up some ribeye cap steaks (couldn't pass up that marbling).

Smoked a 10 pound brisket this weekend in my egg. Used the recipe from the BGE app and smoked at 225 for almost 15 hours until internal temp reached 190. I think it's the third brisket I've smoked, but the first one I smoked overnight. Turned out amazing, maybe the best one yet. Had my egg for about a year and a half and am finally starting to feel comfortable with it. Sorry, no pics of it opened up.
I did pork ribs, beef ribs and lamb chops for Easter. Everything came out amazing!
Now that's what a COVID19 meal should look like. Now I want lamb chops.

This site did some weird shit a few months ago that made all the pictures I host on my own site disappear. This site and no other. I guess the only way you can see them is if I attach them which is a bigger PITA since they are already hosted on my site! OK rant over.
I smoked a 14LB brisket overnight on the pellet smoker. It came out pretty damn good.
