Pokémon*Go Players Are Waging War Over The White House


So when will the first person jump the White House fence playing Pokemon Go?

Now, if memory serves me correct, they were previously involved in a sneak attack...that island out in the Pacific mostly owned by Oprah.

I'm wondering when the first pokemon go idiot will be shot by a homeowner for breaking into a garage or home playing that game.

It is quite odd grown men play silly games such as this. To each his own, but I just don't get it.

If I found the time to play one of those games I could use it much better doing literally anything else.

Like I always say: Play stupid games, win stupid prizes...

I can't say I even know what it is but here's my position on the whole thing.

Two adult guys fell off a cliff in Encinitas, CA today while playing this.

I played for a few hours. It was kinda fun- the "Poke Stops" were at landmarks around my neighborhood I had never seen. I enjoyed walking my dogs around to the "Stops" and seeing new things.

My wife's still playing. Today we went to a park down on the waterfront and walked a few miles while she "hatched her eggs" (apparently you have to walk xx distance to get them to hatch. The ones tonight were "5km" eggs). There was, without exaggerating, hundreds of people there at the park walking around playing the game. Socializing, "exercising", and just getting outside. I know that her and I would not have been down there if not for the game. In fact, we've lived here two years and I had never been down there since they don't allow dogs.

I think it's pretty damn cool, myself. Much better than sitting on the couch watching TV or playing Angry Birds.

Tomorrow we're going to go to a dog friendly park and hatch a couple of her "10km eggs".

Of course there are idiots in every crowd, but I am all for kids, teens, adults, whoever getting off the couch and heading outside. Even if it is to play a game on their phone.

Uh uh. I know what you're thinking. "Did he capture six pokemon or only five?" Well to tell you the truth in all this excitement I kinda lost track myself. But being this is an iPhone 6s Plus, the most powerful handheld in the world and would blow you away in social media, you've gotta ask yourself one question: "Do I feel lucky?" Well, do ya, punk?

Although to be completely honest I did download it out of curiosity and played for about 15 minutes during my kid's soccer practice. I always try to play any games my kids might play so I know what they're about. Slightly similar to another game I used to play a lot called Geocaching, but with that one you find real physical objects.

P-Go has horrible server issues and is a massive battery drain. Kinda silly, but if it gets kids moving then I'm all for it.

That's wise advice for parents.

Don't have to play the same games kids play but it's a good idea to occasionally do a brake check and see what's going on in their world.

Pokemon go, taking over the world...
